Three times I pleaded
with the Lord about this, that it
should leave me. But He said to me,
My grace is sufficient for you, for
My power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 18:8-9

Grace comes to us both in joy and despair
Grace comes to you regardless of how you feel today
His grace is always there to sustain us
Without this grace, where would I be?
Without this grace, where would you be?
Grace that always takes me back,
no matter how far I have ran away
Grace that calls me beloved
even when I feel like I am one
mistake away from Him leaving me.

Three times Paul had pleaded with the Lord
three times
this is no easy matter
three times he had cried to the Lord
and grace came rushing in
in ways he didn’t see coming.
Grace isn’t some good story you tell yourself,
Grace is what keeps you together
because it whispers
It’s okay. I will be enough for you
I will be enough for you
every time you feel empty
I will be enough for you
when you want to give up
I will be enough for you
on hard days
I will be enough.

Grace fills up the holes within me,
Grace does more than we deserve.
Be warned though,
Grace doesn’t always feel like grace
three times Paul answers’ hadn’t been answered
does that feel like grace first?
but doesn’t medication work
even when we don’t feel like it’s working?
let go and just be held by the arms of His grace…
